Your First Visit
We ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so that you have enough time to complete a New Patient form. You can also click the link below to download and complete the form prior to your appointment.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will start by reviewing your medical and dental history. They will then conduct a thorough dental exam to assess the health of your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw. In addition, they will perform an oral cancer screening and take any X-rays they may need to evaluate your oral health.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will develop a long-term dental treatment plan for you. To conclude your appointment, they will answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment plan.
Insurance & Payment
At Mountain View Dental Centre, our administrative team will help you navigate our options for payment and insurance claims so you can focus on achieving your oral health goals.
We want you to be fully informed, so please take a look through our Financial Rights and Responsibilities as well.
Insurance Claims
We offer direct billing to most major insurance companies and our staff can help you understand and maximize your dental insurance benefits.
Payment Methods
The full cost of treatment must be paid at the time of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, debit, or most major credit cards.
Support for Anxious Patients
Anxiety toward dental appointments is very common. However, we don't want it to prevent you from seeking dental care. At Mountain View Dental Centre, we have practices in place, including dental sedation options, to help you relax during your appointments.
